You might think you have seen everything nature has to offer with all those fancy nature shows on television. I used to think that was the case, too, having gotten all my channels with sites like direct tv Georgia, but I was wrong, and if you want to see what nature really has to offer then you are going to want to take a trip to the Georgia mountains.
If you live in Georgia and you are close enough to drive, then consider making a day of it. If you aren’t quite so local, I can assure you that the journey is more than worth it, but you need to be prepared for a physical challenge like no other. The scenery may look gorgeous and it might really seem like it’s a pleasure cruise, but the mountains are no pushover. Make sure you bring plenty of water for the trip and make sure you are wearing some long sleeve shirts and pants. You may not want to do this, especially during the hotter seasons but the only thing worse than sweating a little is catching Lyme disease from a subtle tick. And be sure to do some research on the trails you are looking to hike, if you bring the kids. Some might prove a little too challenging.

There are many hiking opportunities in the mountains of northern Georgia.
